Interstate Freight Services Australia
Move pallets, commercial freight and full truckloads across Australia with Express and General freight options. Quick Cargo helps businesses move interstate freight between Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and regional Australia.
Flexible options for every shipment
Not every interstate shipment needs the same service. Some freight needs to move fast, some needs the lowest practical rate, and some jobs need a dedicated truck, tail-lift delivery, or a specific trailer type. Quick Cargo gives you the flexibility to match the right service to your freight — from single pallets and palletised commercial freight to machinery, full truckloads and assisted deliveries.
Express Interstate Freight
When timing matters, Express fast-tracks your freight through the linehaul with prioritised pickup and delivery. It's our fastest option, available between Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane — best for urgent, time-sensitive freight like replacement stock, project-critical deliveries, or anything that can't wait for the next standard service. If your freight is urgent, our team can check the fastest option before you book.
General Interstate Freight
When cost matters more than speed, General moves your freight through our regular linehaul system alongside other goods, which keeps the cost down. It's available Australia-wide — including Perth, Adelaide and regional areas — and ideal for single pallets, small multi-pallet shipments and standard commercial freight when you can allow some flexibility on transit times.
Full Truckload Interstate Freight
For larger shipments, we arrange dedicated full truckload transport Australia-wide. Your load travels on its own vehicle rather than through a shared network — suited to large pallet quantities, semi-trailer and B-double loads, warehouse relocations, machinery, and freight that needs direct delivery. We can arrange semi-trailers, B-doubles, tautliners, flat-tops, drop decks and mezzanine trailers depending on your load.
Hiab & Moffett truck options
Some freight needs more than a standard truck. If your pickup or delivery site doesn't have a forklift, we can arrange Hiab and Moffett options where available. Hiab trucks lift heavier freight on and off when forklift access isn't practical; Moffett trucks use a truck-mounted forklift to unload palletised freight at sites without unloading equipment. Availability depends on location, freight size, weight, site access and timing — send us the details and we'll help work it out.
Common interstate routes
Sydney to Melbourne, Sydney to Brisbane, Melbourne to Brisbane, Sydney to Adelaide, Melbourne to Adelaide, Sydney to Perth, Sydney to Canberra — and everywhere in between. If your route isn't listed, you can still request a quote; we support interstate freight across Australia, including many regional pickup and delivery locations.
Before you book
Accurate freight details help avoid delays and extra charges. It helps to know the pickup and delivery addresses, number of pallets and their dimensions, total weight, whether the freight is stackable, whether a forklift is available at each end, whether tail-lift, Hiab or Moffett is required, your timing, and any site access restrictions.
Quick Cargo is built for businesses moving palletised freight, commercial freight and larger shipments — we're not a parcel or carton courier service. If your freight is on pallets or needs a truck, we can help.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Express and General interstate freight? Express fast-tracks your freight through the linehaul with prioritised pickup and delivery — it's our fastest option, available between Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. General moves through our regular system alongside other goods, so it costs less but usually takes a little longer, and it covers all of Australia. Express when it's urgent, General when it's not.
Can I send a single pallet interstate? Yes. We move single pallets interstate through our general freight network — there's no minimum, so you only pay for the space you use. We can also handle multiple pallets and larger palletised shipments right up to full truckloads.
Do you offer Hiab or Moffett trucks for interstate freight? Yes — Hiab and Moffett options are available in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, depending on the freight size, weight and site access. Use them when your pickup or delivery site doesn't have a forklift: Hiab trucks lift heavier freight on and off, while Moffett trucks use a truck-mounted forklift to unload pallets onsite.
Do you deliver to Perth and regional areas? Yes. We move interstate freight to Perth, Adelaide and many regional areas across Australia through our general freight service. Availability and transit times depend on the freight details, route and vehicle required.
Do you handle cartons or parcels? Quick Cargo isn't a parcel or carton courier service — we focus on palletised freight, commercial freight, machinery, equipment and truckload transport. If your goods are on pallets or need a truck, we can help.
